A Natural Experiment to Test the Changeability of Working Memory: Does Blindness Boost Working Memory?

Abstract
With this poster a natural experiment examining the trainability of working memory is presented. This transnational study shows (among other results), that working memory capacity of children with visual handicaps is much larger than this of children without visual handicaps. This supports the view that working memory is trainable.
