A Qualitative Inquiry on Trauma Exposure and Pathways of Resilience Among Mexican Citizens: From Adaptation to Resistance

This poster utilized qualitative interviews in examining positive adaptation in the form of personal resilience and political resistance and its relationship to adversity and trauma. This study applied a multidisciplinary approach, specifically, emphasizing ecological and sociopolitical perspectives in understanding an individual’s behavioral response to adverse and traumatic life events.
