Stress and Alcohol Use Disorder: New findings, New Directions
Alcohol use disorder is a chronic relapsing illness in which relapse can be linked to cognitive impairments and adaptations in brain stress, reward, and emotion circuits. This symposium will highlight new findings associating stress-induced drinking with biological factors, treatment outcomes, and stress focused interventions with functional neuroconnectivity.
