Minoritized Students' Perspectives on Being Included in Higher Educational Contexts

Thursday, May 25, 2017 · Boston, MA

Developmental

While coping with structural issues within higher education, students manage normative academic and psychological demands. Students who are members of marginalized social groups often navigate unfamiliar, sometimes hostile, contexts. This symposium draws on data from a campus study and forefronts student perspectives on their minoritized identities, activism, and social positions.
