The Forces That Divide, and How to Transcend Them
In this symposium we examine the consequences of negative perceptions, and the effect of targeted interventions aimed at transcending them: an empathy intervention that reduces school suspensions, the role of respect among police and the policed, and interventions that reduce negative meta-perceptions and collective blame of Muslims.
