This interdisciplinary symposium explores work-life balance from perspectives of organizational, social, and evolutionary psychology. Three papers discuss new research on work-family facilitation, how planning for the future affects time allocation between work and non-work life, and why technology and globalization tilts individuals’ desires towards work and away from family.
