Approaches for, and a Warning about, Reducing the Stigmatization of People with Depression through Anti-Stigma Campaigns: Social-Psychological Approaches
This symposium presents four papers examining approaches for increasing the social support received by people with depression. Attribution theory guides the first two presentations; the overheard communication technique guides the third. The final paper illustrates the potential harms that can occur when people with depressive symptomatology view anti-stigma public-services-announcements.
