Using Ecological Assessments to Understand Emotion Regulation in Daily Life

Existing evidence regarding the consequences of emotion regulation largely comes from laboratory experiments that have limited ecological validity. To extend these insights, these presenters used ecological assessments to examine the consequences of a wide variety of emotion regulation strategies in daily life, including for affect, psychological health, and relationship quality.
