From Nhst to the New Statistics: How Do We Get There?
To improve research practices APS has encouraged a shift from Null Hypothesis Significance Testing to the “New Statistics”, which focuses on effect sizes, confidence intervals, and meta-analysis. Attend this symposium for a spirited discussion of making this change in the lab, in the papers we publish, and in the classroom.
