Advances in Suspect Identification: Decision Making and Evidence Gathering

Friday, May 26, 2017 · Boston, MA

Cognitive

We approach suspect identification from four perspectives. One talk explores signal detection models of lineup identification. Another considers the role of signal strength on identification criteria setting. The third introduces a double-target lineup. The final talk compares identity matching by forensic facial examiners, untrained people, and face recognition algorithms.
