Language and Math: Guiding Attention in Numerical Contexts
We explore how implicitly guiding children’s attention, through mathematical language or task manipulation, can foster children’s grasp of mathematical concepts. This set of talks will cover the intimate relation between language and math, including how children’s understanding of mathematical language can be assessed.
