The Impact of Cellphones on Cognitive Tasks

Abstract

Compared to students with cellphones on and available and students with cellphones on but not available, students with no access to cellphones perform better on delayed reading comprehension tests, Trail-Making Test A & B, Stroop Word, and Stroop Color tests, and tended to perform better on the Stroop Color-Word test.
