Abstract

Our preliminary study shows strong validity and reliability of the new treatment outcome measure, Brief Observation of Social Communication Change (BOSCC), applied to the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS). BOSCC ratings can validly detect significant improvements in social communication during the ADOS in young children over the course of treatment.
