Abstract
When adolescents are asked about their history of self-injurious thoughts and behaviors, do their responses correspond with their parents’ responses? The current study examines the rates and potential correlates of adolescent-parent informant discrepancies around nonsuicidal self-injury, suicidal ideation, suicide gesture, suicide plan, and suicide attempt.
