Abstract

This study examined the relationship between the type of intimate partner rape (physically forced or psychologically coerced) and a diagnosis of PTSD in a sample of Latinas experiencing IPV. Results indicate that more frequent physically forced rape was significantly associated with PTSD diagnosis among Latinas exposed to IPV.
