How Connected Are We to Nature: Implicit Versus Explicit Attitudes on Environmental Attitudes and Concerns

These two experiments explored the relationship between directly-observable conservation behavior versus self-report measure of conservation behaviors with explicit (questionnaire) and implicit (IAT) measures of environmental attitudes and concerns. Only self-reported conservation behaviors- and not observed conservation behavior, were related to explicit measures of environmental attitudes and concerns.
