Abstract

A randomized waitlist-controlled intervention study investigated the effects of an eight week bouldering psychotherapy (BPT) on symptoms of depression. The study provides evidence that short-term BPT can be effective for reducing symptoms of depression and that the alleviation of depressive symptoms can be enhanced through physical activity.
