Abstract

Cognitive failures may reflect underlying neuronal organization, and individual differences in hand preference are associated with differences in cortical organization. The cognitive failure Forgetfulness increased with increasing consistent-handedness, and inconsistent-handers reported less forgetfulness than consistent-right-handers, likely reflecting underlying differences between handedness groups in neural substrates of memory.
