Investigating the Nonmedical Use and Diversion of Prescription Drugs

Using a sample of undergraduates in a multicultural university, we found no significant differences in Big Five personality traits between users and nonusers of prescription drugs, and minimal differences between those who did and did not endorse sharing their medications with their peers. Implications of these findings are discussed.
