Abstract

The goals of this investigation were to examine the relationship between gender, math self-efficacy and parental teaching attitudes on the math performance of African American 2nd grade students. Our results indicate that gender and parental teaching attitudes are predictors of math self-efficacy and performance for African American 2nd grade students.
