Organizational Culture: Exploring the Relationship to Organizational Commitment

Abstract
Participants (n=106) completed questionnaires measuring commitment, using the three component model, and organizational culture, using Grid-group cultural theory (GGCT) instrument. Affective, continuance and normative commitment types were evaluated. Hierarchy, individualism, egalitarian, and fatalistic culture types were assessed. A correlational analysis found the strongest relationship between egalitarian cultures and commitment.
