Music, Personality, and Fandom: A Look at Bts and Taylor Swift Fans

Abstract: We examined the relationship between personality, music preference, and fandom. There were 247 participants (188 women, M_age= 18-20), with results finding that fans tended to use music for emotional regulation and found purpose in their fandoms. It was also found that k-pop fans listened to a wider range of music.
