Keyword: Self-ControlAbstract: Exposure to cultural stressors as well as immigration stress have been linked to increased rates of adverse alcohol-related outcomes among recent immigrants. Using structural equation modelling, the current study demonstrated the potential of emotional regulation to mediate the impact of immigration trauma on binge drinking behaviors among recent Latino immigrants.
