Poster Session IX
Saturday May 24, 2025 (16:00 - 17:00 ET)
Keyword: PsychopathologyAbstract: We examined if the presence of others increased the length of consecutive, negative free associates (i.e., negative chain length) in social anxiety. Social anxiety levels were positively associated with negative chain lengths only in the group condition. In social anxiety, being in a group activates a negative semantic network.
