Affective State and Cognitive Functioning in Patients with Newly Diagnosed Insular Gliomas

Keyword: OtherAbstract: In the present study 118 newly diagnosed insular glioma patients were screened using Montreal Cognitive Assessment and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale. Cognitive impairment was present in 82% and anxiety and depression in 24.8% and 18.1% participants respectively. It highlights the importance of assessing patient’s neuropsychological status for treatment planning
