Keyword: Studying and LearningAbstract: This study examined how emotional regulation (cognitive reappraisal vs. emotional suppression) impacts math anxiety (MA) in 207 students (4th–6th grade). Path analyses revealed that cognitive reappraisal positively influenced classroom engagement, which, in turn, reduced testing and learning MA.
