Keyword: GenderAbstract: Children’s and adolescents’ evaluations of and responses to gender inequalities in science leadership opportunities within peer groups were assessed. Adolescents evaluated inequalities that disadvantaged girls more negatively than inequalities that disadvantaged boys. Girls and participants who negatively evaluated inequalities were more likely to confront their group for perpetrating inequalities.
