Neuropsychological Functioning Predicts Symptoms of Major Depression

Keyword: PsychopathologyAbstract: To fill a gap in the literature, we tested neuropsychological impairments as predictors of major depressive disorder symptoms and found the strongest predictive factors to be frustration intolerance, executive functioning deficits, and inattention. Findings suggest the need to screen for depressive disorders as part of neuropsychological assessment.
