Keyword: Personality TraitsAbstract: This study examines the role of self-concept clarity (SCC) in shaping adolescent hostile attribution bias (HAB). Using multiple studies, we find that trait SCC, rather than state SCC, predicts HAB, particularly in contexts involving negative evaluations. The assessment mode mediates this relationship, offering insights into adolescent aggression.
