Children's Perceptions about Gender Outgroup Inclusivity Are Related to Cross-Gender Contact

Keyword: GenderAbstract: Children were surveyed about whether or not they thought that their gender outgroup was inclusive towards diverse peers and their contact with outgroup members. Children who thought that their gender outgroup was inclusive reported more contact with their gender outgroup, and, with age, boys reported more contact with girls.
