Keyword: MemoryAbstract: We measured the predictive value of high-neuroticism and low-conscientiousness to cognitive decline over 5 and 10 years, utilizing self-report measures. Both regression models were significant, explaining 7% and 10% of the variance in cognitive decline, respectively. Conscientiousness was measured as a mediator to neuroticism, but no mediating effect was found.
