Keyword: Mood DisordersAbstract: We examined the effects of procrastination, worry, and rumination on depressive symptoms in a sample of 45 individuals with anxiety or depression using 30-day EMA data. Findings revealed strong associations, with procrastination and rumination jointly explaining 69% of depressive symptoms variance. Results inform treatments targeting cognitive and behavioral avoidance processes.
