Abstract: Beliefs about older-adult male suicide-methods were assessed among respondents (N= 268, 49.6% male; M_age=20) in a U.S. community with high male suicide mortality. Firearms were viewed as the most acceptable method of older-adult male suicide, with implications for prevention.
