Member Townhall 3: Bylaws and Your Future APS
Friday, October 3, 2025, 1:00 p.m. ET (17:00 UTC) The Association for Psychological Science is engaged in an organization-wide effort to modernize and improve how we serve psychological scientists and continue to advance psychological science around the world in the years ahead. One part of this effort is to review and update our bylaws, which have not fundamentally changed since our founding in 1988. The Board of Directors, with input from past presidents and board members, current and past committee members and journal editors, and staff, are proposing these new bylaws. The Board of Directors invites additional comments and feedback from all APS members.

Call for Submissions: Consortium of European Research on Emotion Grenoble 2025
Location: Grenoble, FranceSubmission Deadline: 1 February 2025 Submissions are now open for the 10th Consortium of European Research on Emotion (CERE) Conference, hosted by Université Grenoble Alpes on 16–18 July 2025. CERE serves as a leading platform for showcasing cutting-edge research on emotion, fostering interdisciplinary exchange across Europe and beyond. The consortium encourages contributions from scholars engaged in empirically grounded theoretical work across diverse disciplines, including but not limited to psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, sociology, linguistics, affective computing, history, and anthropology.

Deanna Barch Wins 2024 Sarnat Prize in Mental Health
APS Fellow Deanna Barch, a professor of psychology and radiology and Vice Dean of Research at Washington University in St. Louis, has been awarded the 2024 Rhoda and Bernard Sarnat International Prize in Mental Health.
