Travel Awards to Attend Sackler Colloquium
We invite applications for travel awards to young scientists to attend this year's Sackler Colloquium, “The Brain Produces Mind by Modeling," to be held May 1-3 at the Beckman Center of the National Academies of Sciences in Irvine, CA on May 1-3, 2019. The organizers are Rich Shiffrin, Sophie Deneve, Josh Tenenbaum, Danielle Bassett, and NIko Kriegeskorte. The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) is the world’s largest pre-college science and engineering exhibition, providing an opportunity for the world’s most talented and innovative students to have their work judged by professional scientists and engineers. 9th Annual Varda Shoham Clinical Scientist Training Initiative Grant Applications Open
The Society for a Science of Clinical Psychology (SSCP) has announced the 9th annual Varda Shoham Clinical Scientist Training Initiative grant program. Applications are invited for small (up to $1500), non-renewable grants for training programs at the predoctoral, internship, or postdoctoral levels to launch new projects or support ongoing initiatives that are designed to more effectively integrate science and practice into their training program. We offer three different tracks for applicants: 1) conducting science in/on applied settings, 2) innovation in clinical science training or resources, or 3) value-added to the program.
