NIH Funding Available for Basic Neuroscience Research

Seize this standing opportunity to study development, structure, or function of the nervous system

Psychological scientists know that basic research is fundamental to developing and driving knowledge. The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), one of NIH’s institutes, supports basic neuroscience research to better understand the development, structure, and function of the nervous system. Through this call for research, NINDS encourages scientists to submit proposals for basic neuroscience research. Applications to this funding opportunity should not focus on a specific disease area, development of treatments, or applied experiments.

The deadline for this grant follows NIH standard dates; the soonest upcoming deadline is February 5, 2020.
