Abstract
A total of three odor environments were created to manipulate the perception of pleasure and effort during a 30-min indoor cycling session. The tolerance to effort was evaluated using the PRETI-Q questionnaire. Low tolerant individuals beneficiated from the hedonic value of odors whereas the high tolerant participants did not.
