Abstract
We evaluated the relationship between positive coping strategies and psychosocial outcomes in a representative sample of Florida and Texas residents (N=1809) during COVID-19. Engaging in hobbies was associated with lower functional impairment and global distress but not posttraumatic stress (PTS). Relying on friends/family was associated with higher PTS.
