Effects of Divided Attention at Encoding and Test Format on Emotional False Memory

Abstract
Previous research has shown that negative emotion enhances false memory and that divided attention decreases the likelihood of remembering neutral stimuli, depending on the method of recall. This study aims to investigate if at encoding, the effect of divided attention on emotional false memory depends on the method of recall.
