Put a Smile on That Face: How One’s Dental Appearance Affects Others’ Perception

First impressions are often largely based on appearance. The appearance of one’s teeth can greatly alter how one is perceived by others. Here, we propose two studies to examine how dental appearance affects others’ perception of one’s intelligence and merit, operationalized as one’s employability.
