Race-Specific Patterns of Associations Predicting Career Optimism during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract
COVID-19 has disproportionately impacted the work lives of racially underrepresented individuals. Thus, this study conducted multiple regressions with 158 working adults from racial minority backgrounds examining demographics and vocational constructs. Results indicate specific negative associations between demographic information and career optimism, and positive associations between occupational awareness and career optimism.
