Pink Still Signals 'girl'

Traditional gender stereotypes in our society hold that pink is “for girls” and blue is “for boys.” What happens when the truck is pink? Or the doll is wearing blue? Our study finds that pink is still a strong signal to consumers that a toy is 'for' a girl.
