Abstract
We find the COVID context has made U.S. biology faculty more concerned about equity among their students. However, these faculty are not more likely to adopt interventions supporting underrepresented students’ success because heightened concern about equity simultaneously creates concern that assignments meant to support underrepresented students will actually overburden them.
