Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count of Think Aloud Protocol Interviews of the Items of the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale

The objective of this study is to examine the current interpretations of the items on the Rosenberg Self-Esteem scale (RSES: Rosenberg, 1965) through Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count (LIWC: Pennebaker, Francis, & Booth, 2001). 36 interviews were conducted and seven aspects of LIWC were examined.
