Abstract
This study (n = 783) examined the impact of state boredom (SB) and boredom-proneness (BP) on psychological health during COVID-19. BP was associated with negative outcomes including distress and pessimism when controlling for SB. When controlling for BP, recent SB was associated with hopefulness and greater concern over possible infection.
