Comedic Dominance: Dominance’s Effect on Comedic Perception and the Potential Role That Gender Plays

Earlier research suggested that dominance and valence scores, measured with IAPS forms, were correlated with reports of positive humorous content. In this research we are investigating whether this relationship holds true when it comes to studying a sample of only women comedians versus a mixed sample from previous research.
