Abstract
Those with diabetes may harbor negative attitudes towards the other diabetes type due to causal differences and their implications. This poster provides an overview of the 2017 Diabetes, Identity, Attributions, and Health Study (DINAH) and contributes additional insight on how perceptions of the other diabetes type influence one’s illness identity.
