Abstract

Research indicates concussions may damage circuits involved in motivation. Concussion history and reward motivation were examined using the EEfRT. Results: length of time post-concussion was associated with choosing hard trials on the EEfRT. As time elapses post-concussion, individuals may expend greater effort for rewards, suggesting recovery from concussion-related motivational anhedonia.
