Abstract

This study demonstrated how romantic attachment security in college students buffered the impact of stress on anxiety symptoms during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results supported the notion that views attachment security as a safety-regulation system that is activated to produce strategic actions for emotional security in response to stressful situations.
