Abstract

This study qualitatively examined career exploration and transitions in established adulthood (EstA, 30-45). Interviews with 100 EstAs, ages of 30-45 (M =37) revealed continuity in career exploration for EstAs, with job changes related to chosen employment patterns, desire to achieve career advancement, and transitions due to shortened time horizons.
